About Bookings

Inside Piper Seneca III Charter PlaneBooking: Booking is done directly by us or through the agency that you are using. We may be reached at 1-(207)-667-8003 or 1-(207)-266-6601 (cell phone).

Billing Information: We can accept credit cards. We accept checks with certain limitations. We require deposits, normally 50%, for any reservation that involves a pick-up away from the Bar Harbor Airport. Deposits are refundable unless the customer no-shows at the pick-up point.

You are responsible for all landing and parking fees, if any, and overnight lodging for crew.

We can wait for you at your destination. Wait time is free for the first two hours and billable at $50 per hour thereafter up to a maximum of $200 per day.

We have a maximum duty day of 14 hours. That includes time prior to departure required for preflight planning and inspection. This limit is specified by the FAA and we must abide by it. We are also limited to 8 hours of flight in any 24 hour period.

All trips are computed at round trip or return flight to KBHB. If you need a round trip flight that does not involve crew layover or wait, that is two separate billable flights. For example, if you are going to New York from Bar Harbor we can wait for you in New York and fly you back. The charge will be the trip plus wait time and hotel, if any required. However, if we fly you to New York, fly the airplane back to Maine empty, and then fly down and pick you up on another day, that is 2 billable flights.

There may be slightly higher fees during winter months for winter operational requirements such as de-icing and aircraft hangaring.

Nav Canada fees are chargeable and will be in the quote.

Finally, there is a 3.75% tax for the Hancock County Airport. There are no other Federal or State taxes. You are not responsible for holding, departure, or taxi delays.

Once a trip is quoted it will remain at that price unless you make changes or unless there are increased landing fees, etc. that we could not foresee.

About Refunds: We are certificated and inspected in the USA and Canada. We are mandated by FAA and Transport Canada regulations to fly safely and we take that seriously. We do not operate and will cancel when the weather is below our standards, when required equipment is inoperative, or during closures of needed airspace and airports.

We will make every effort to assist with alternate travel plans; however, we are not responsible for missed connections, meetings, lodging or other modes of transportation.

Our sole obligation is to refund fares for flights we are unable to complete. We may provide ground transportation, at our option, for some or all of a chartered flight.
